On July 1, Eve Seo’s agency, Soon Entertainment, announced that they are taking legal action to protect the young artist’s rights.

The agency stated, “The malicious posts targeting Eve Seo have reached a serious level,” and added, “Particularly concerning are the severe posts directed at our underage artist, prompting us to take strong legal measures to protect her rights.”

They added, “Our legal representatives and a dedicated team are continuously collecting evidence. We have identified defamatory posts and comments across various online communities.”

The legal representative warned, “Posting malicious content constitutes a crime, and offenders may face penalties such as fines if convicted.”

Soon Entertainment emphasized, “While the lawsuit and investigation process may take some time, we are committed to eradicating illegal activities such as sexual crimes and defamation against our underage artist. We will not compromise and will respond strongly until the end against those who infringe on her rights.”
