'I-LAND 2' Debut Group Confirmed: Introducing The Members of IZNA
“I-LAND 2” has come to an end, and the members of the debut group, IZNA have finally been announced!
On July 4, 2024, the finale episode of Mnet’s reality survival show “I-LAND 2” was streamed live. The finale episode was streamed on various platforms, such as YouTube, to allow international viewers to watch. The finale introduced the members of the debut group, IZNA.
Here are the members who made the line-up!
7. Jeong Saebi

To everyone’s surprise, the producers of “I-LAND 2” decided to add an extra member to IZNA, changing the line-up from six members to seven. The final member to be announced as a producer’s pick was Jeong Saebi! If they chose to maintain the original group line-up, Jeong Saebi would not have debuted with IZNA.
BIGBANG’s Taeyang stated Jeong Saebi is someone who loves the stage; she absorbs herself in each performance, and is a positive influence whenever she performs. Born on January 22, 2008, Jeong Saebi is currently 16 years old.
6. Mai

The sixth member of IZNA to be announced was none other than Mai! She was the producer’s pick and was the second Japanese member of the group to be announced. She was born on October 28, 2004, and is currently 19 years old.
It was revealed that the producers wanted a member who had a “kick.” Thanks to her iconic visuals, Mai stood out as their pick. Though there are still areas where she needs improvement, they believe she will improve the parts she lacks. Additionally, her personality and perseverance were an advantageous point.
5. Ryu Sarang

Ryu Sarang received 319,693 votes. It was noted that in the previous week, she was in seventh place. If she had maintained that rank, she would have not debuted. Luckily, she climbed the rankings and secured her spot in IZNA.
She was born on April 18, 2007, and is currently 17 years old. Before joining the show, Ryu Sarang attended Red State Dance Academy and was a child dancer for H.O.T. She passed the auditions for both Source Music and JYP Entertainment,
4. Koko

Koko received 320,124 votes, earning the first debut spot in IZNA! In the announcement, Jeon Somi praised the soon-to-debut idol for her stage presence and energy. She was also applauded for her physique.
Koko was born on November 14, 2006, making her 17 years old. She was born and raised in Japan. During her time on the show, Koko was voted the number one dancer amongst the trainees. Additionally, she earned praise for her rap skills during her time on the show.
3. Yoon Jiyoon

Yoon Jiyoon received 471,699 votes, the second debut spot in IZNA! Yoon Jiyoon was the second member of IZNA to be announced. During the announcement, she was praised for her unique voice and charms, as well as her sensitive emotions while on stage.
Yoon Jiyoon was born on July 14, 2005, and is 18 years old. Before joining the show, Yoon Jiyoon was a trainee under THEBLACKLABEL.
2. Bang Jeemin

Bang Jeemin received 591,495 votes, securing the third debut spot in INZA. During her announcement, it was revealed she spent over 1,000 days training and has been working tirelessly for her debut.
Bang Jeemin was born on May 8, 2005, and is 19 years old. Prior to competing on “I-LAND 2,” Bang Jeemin competed on “R U NEXT?” but was eliminated in the finale episode. At the time, she ranked fourth in the live voting.
1. Choi Jungeun

Choi Jungeun received 823,393 votes, finishing the show at number one and securing her spot in IZNA! After she was announced, she was praised for her amazing vocals and stage presence.
Choi Jungeun was born on August 3, 2007, and is currently 16 years old. Back in 2020, Choi Jungeun competed on the survival show “CAP-TEEN,” but failed to receive a pass in the first episode.
