BLACKPINK's JENNIE becomes the First Korean Female Soloist to have a song surpass 1 Billion Spotify streams

BLACKPINK’s JENNIE has achieved new another remarkable milestones on Spotify with her track “One Of The Girls,” a collaboration with The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp. The song has amassed 1 Billion streams, and is the First song by a Female Korean Soloist to reach this mark on Spotify.

It took 376 days to achieve this milestone feat, thus surpassing her dear friend Lisa (“Money” which took 739 days) and her own group BLACKPINK (“How You Like That” which took 1,356 days).

The records set by Jennie don’t end there since “One Of The Girls”, being a viral success, is the “Only Soundtrack released in 2023 that surpassed 1 Billion streams on Spotify” and the “Most Streamed OST by a K-pop Act” in history.

Being celebrated by many people around the world, Spotify officially inducted “One Of The Girls” into the platform’s Billion Club, thus Jennie has joined Lisa and BLACKPINK as K-pop’s Only Female Acts with a song that exceeds 1 Billion streams on Spotify.

Now, Jennie, Lisa, Jungkook, and Jimin are the only K-pop Soloists with at least one song to have 1 Billion Streams on Spotify.
