ONF Tour Organizer Apologizes for Unfair Treatment of Fans

In a recent turn of events, the organizer of ONF’s upcoming North American tour, J&B Entertainment, has issued a public apology for offering exclusive benefits to a small group of fans through private KakaoTalk chatrooms.

The controversy erupted after fans discovered these unfair practices and demanded transparency from the organizer.

Previously, fans of the K-pop group ONF banded together to demand an explanation from J&B Entertainment for unfairly offering various benefits to a select few fans.

These benefits included tickets, private information about the ONF members and their itineraries, and even clothing worn by the members. The uproar among fans prompted WM Entertainment, ONF’s label, to confront J&B Entertainment for clarity.

In response to the backlash, Jacky Yoo, the CEO of J&B Entertainment, issued a statement apologizing for his actions. He stated:

“I’m Jacky Yoo, CEO of J&B Entertainment, the organizer of ONF’s North American tour. First, I sincerely apologize to the fans of ONF. While carrying out ticket sales for ONF’s North American tour, I conversed privately with a small number of fans via KakaoTalk, offering them advantageous sales offers and additional benefits. I apologize for worrying fans of ONF, the members of ONF, and WM Entertainment with my foolish attitude and careless speech.”

Yoo promised to end the practice of privately communicating with fans and offering additional benefits without WM Entertainment’s consent. He assured fans that:

“All benefits and amenities offered to a small number of recipients without WM Entertainment’s consent will be cancelled. All ticket holders who wish to receive a refund will receive a 100% refund. Once again, I bow my head in apology to the members of ONF and their fans for the trouble caused.”

In light of the incident, WM Entertainment has announced it will halt all further partnerships with J&B Entertainment. This includes the cancellation of ONF’s tour stops in Taiwan and Hong Kong, initially scheduled for October.

Regarding the North American tour, WM Entertainment stated:

“As for ONF’s North American tour, scheduled to kick off in August, we will take into consideration the pure intentions of the fans who have completed preparations to meet ONF in their city, and review all circumstances thoroughly before making an announcement.”
