Actress Ha Yerin cast in hit American historical romance series 'Bridgerton'
Actress Ha Yerin has been cast in the hit American historical romance series ‘Bridgerton’.
According to reports on August 17 KST, Ha Yerin has been cast in the role of Sophie Beckett in the upcoming season of the hit Netflix series ‘Bridgerton’. Sophie Beckett is described as Benedict Bridgerton’s (played by Luke Thompson) love interest for season 4.
The logline for season 4 states, “The fourth season of ‘Bridgerton’ turns its focus to bohemian second son Benedict. Despite his elder and younger brothers both being happily married, Benedict is loath to settle down – until he meets a captivating Lady in Silver at his mother’s masquerade ball.” The “Lady in Silver” is Sophie Beckett, the illegitimate daughter of an earl and one of his maids.
Ha Yerin is known for her roles in the Paramount+ series adaption of the game ‘Halo’, Australian shows ‘Reef Break’, ‘Troppo’, and ‘Bad Behavior’ as well as the horror film ‘Sissy’. She’s also set to appear in the ‘Mad Max’ prequel series ‘Dune: Prophecy’, which premieres this November.
