While interacting with fans is generally seen as positive behavior for an artist, the timing was deemed inappropriate by many netizens.

August 15 marks the 79th anniversary of The National Liberation Day of Korea, which commemorates Korea’s liberation from Japan and celebrate the establishment of the Korean government.
