Doh Kyungsoo Fan Concert BLOOM in Kuala Lumpur
The beloved Doh Kyungsoo will be holding his first ever solo Fan Concert BLOOM, on 17 August, at the Axiata Arena Bukit Jalil.
Earlier, at the successfully concluded ‘Doh Kyungsoo Birthday Party’ fan meeting in Seoul, the talented singer expressed his Birthday wish – “This year, I will visit fans more often”. Keeping his promise, Doh Kyungsoo shared the news of the confirmed Asian fan concert tour with joy. Fans were thrilled especially since it is his first solo tour in 12 years since his debut, making it extra meaningful.
Since debut, Doh Kyungsoo has always been praised on his excellent singing. His long-awaited comeback this May with his third mini album “Blossom”, upon release, immediately shot tothe top of iTunes charts in 36 regions across the globe, proving his immersed popularity. But it wasn’t just the album that captured hearts and minds; its title track “Mars” also soared to unprecedented heights, topping iTunes Top Songs charts in an impressive 23 regions.
Doh Kyungsoo has also dabbled in acting and appeared on various variety shows, showcasing his versatility as an artist. His latest Movie, “The Moon”, where he acted as an astronaut, has earned him several Best Actor Nominations across various reputable Awards such the Blue Dragon Film Awards and Grand Bell Awards.
In a recent interview, Doh Kyungsoo shared – “Up until now, I’ve always promoted with my [fellow EXO] members, so I didn’t have many opportunities to stand on stage alone. During this fan-con tour of Asia, I’ll be singing multiple songs on my own including the new singles from my new EP that has released early this May. I’m really nervous, but I’m also equally excited. When I see the eyes of my fans on stage, I gain a ton of energy. That huge energy Ive receive becomes my driving force.”
