ITZY member Ryujin’s stage outfit during the group’s concert in Toronto is receiving flak from Korean netizens.

On June 28, 2024, ITZY performed in Toronto for their “BORN TO BE” world tour. Out of all the outfits and performances the girl’s performance, Ryujin’s solo stage, “Run Away.”

On July 2, a post titled “Is ITZY Ryujin wearing underwear on stage…?” was shared with Nate Pann, one of South Korea’s most well-known online community forums. In the post, the original author shared several photos of Ryujin during her solo stage, showcasing her whole outfit.

For her stage, the idol is seen wearing a graphic muscle top over a brown leather jacket. Her shirt is tucked into her fishnet stockings. The idol appears to have ditched pants for her performance, opting for what appears to be black underwear or bikini bottoms.

Korean netizens who saw the post expressed their shock over Ryujin’s outfit. Some claimed that they initially clicked the post because they assumed it was forced hate against the idol, but were left speechless over seeing the idol in what appears to be actual panties.

Many wondered if this was Ryujin’s choice, and wondered why female idols nowadays are more determined to shed clothes and reveal more skin during performances. They claimed that this trend does not make female idols look cool and that Ryujin looks like an unknown idol with this kind of styling.

They claimed that the idol looked cheap instead of sexy, and expressed their distaste for such styling.
