Zico's 'SPOT!' featuring Jennie achieves 10 weeks on Billboard chart amid international praise
Artist and producer Zico has received critical acclaim from international media and set a record by staying on the U.S. Billboard charts for 10 consecutive weeks.
On July 9, the latest Billboard chart revealed that Zico’s digital single “SPOT! (feat. Jennie)” ranked at 106 on the ‘Global Excl. U.S.’ chart. Earlier, Billboard selected “SPOT!” for its ‘The 20 Best K-Pop Songs of 2024’ list, praising it as one of the year’s most dynamic collaborations blending hip-hop and pop. Billboard highlighted the unique charms of Zico and Jennie, noting their charismatic delivery of the song’s catchy chorus and witty lyrics. The song’s success also earned Zico his first number one on the Billboard ‘World Digital Song Sales’ chart.
The British music magazine NME also included “SPOT!” in its “The 15 Best K-Pop Songs of 2024” list, further showcasing Zico’s reputation as a hitmaker. “SPOT!” continues to enjoy long-lasting popularity on domestic music charts, securing the 8th and 7th positions on the latest weekly charts of Melon and Genie, respectively, for 10 consecutive weeks.
Zico is set to meet global fans at ‘KCON LA 2024’ on July 28 in Los Angeles, and at ‘SUMMER SONIC BANGKOK 2024’ on August 24 in Bangkok.
