Jaejoong cast in his first drama in seven years, alongside Jin Se Yeon, Lee Jong Won, and Yang Hye Ji in 'Bad Memory Eraser'

The upcoming MBN miniseries ‘Bad Memory Eraser,’ has officially announced their cast featuring Kim Jaejoong, Jin Se Yeon, Lee Jong Won, and Yang Hye Ji, has confirmed its premiere date for August 2 at 9:40 PM.

Directed by Yoon Ji Hoon and Kim Na Young, and written by Jung Eun Young, the series is a thrilling romance about a man whose life changes due to a memory eraser and his first love.

Jaejoong plays the role of Lee Goon, a former tennis prodigy whose life is transformed after using a memory eraser. Once an injured athlete with shattered self-esteem, he re-emerges with newfound confidence and presence. Known for his limitless growth in dramas like ‘SPY,’ ‘Triangle,’ and ‘Dr. Jin,’ Jaejoong returns to the small screen after seven years, generating significant interest.

Jin Se Yeon stars as Kyung Ju Yeon, a psychiatrist at a brain research center and Lee Goon’s fabricated first love. With an impressive range in both historical and modern dramas like ‘Doctor Stranger,’ ‘Flowers of the Prison,’ and ‘Grand Prince,’ Jin Se Yeon will showcase her charm in ‘Bad Memory Eraser,’ blending intelligence with a quirky allure.

Lee Jong Won takes on the role of Lee Shin, the world’s top-ranked tennis player and Lee Goon’s successful younger brother. Known for his roles in ‘Knight Flower,’ ‘The Golden Spoon,’ and ‘Hospital Playlist Season 2,’ Lee Jong Won will portray the complex relationship between the brothers.

Yang Hye Ji plays Jeon Sae Yan, Lee Shin’s interpreter and a lovable character adored by everyone. With performances in ‘Wonderful World’ and ‘Revenant,’ and winning the Newcomer Award at the 2023 SBS Drama Awards for ‘Revenant,’ Yang Hye Ji’s participation is greatly anticipated.

‘Bad Memory Eraser’ will premiere on MBN on August 2 at 9:40 PM KST. It will also be exclusively available on Rakuten Viki in Japan, North America, Europe, Australia, the Middle East, and India.
