Yuju drew attention for her Instagram Story, which raised eyebrows among netizens amid the drama between ADOR, SOURCE MUSIC, and HYBE. The former GFRIEND’s post, including one of NewJeans’ songs, sparked reactions in online communities and social media.

Earlier on July 24, Korean news outlet Sports World disclosed that the parents of NewJeans have expressed their support for ADOR and criticized SOURCE MUSIC for its treatment of the members during their trainee days.

The report shared details regarding the parents’ claims of the members’ harsh living conditions and mistreatment under SOURCE MUSIC.

Furthermore, Minji’s mother also reportedly expressed her contentment with her daughter’s debut in ADOR and expressed her stance against HYBE’s actions towards Min Hee Jin. In the middle of the shocking reports, a former SOURCE MUSIC idol’s post caught everyone’s eye.

On July 25, netizens established a community forum titled, “GFRIEND Yuju posted NewJeans On Her Instagram Story.” The author uploaded a screenshot showing Yuju’s Instagram Story, posted on July 24.

According to the content, the photo showed Yuju posing, and the idol used NewJeans’ song “Hurt” as the background music.

The post generated reactions in the thread, with many speculating that Yuju has lowkey expressed her support for NewJeans. Though the idol has not explicitly stated her reason for the song’s usage, many couldn’t hold back their speculations due to the conflict’s timing.
