TWS tops Oricon daily album ranking and Korean charts with 'SUMMER BEAT!'

TWS has dominated major daily charts in both Korea and Japan.

According to Hanteo Chart on the 26th, TWS’s second mini album, “SUMMER BEAT!” (consisting of both regular and Weverse editions), recorded a cumulative sales of 416,710 copies as of the previous day. The album maintained its number one position on the daily album chart for two consecutive days (June 24 and 25).

Additionally, “SUMMER BEAT!” topped the Oricon Daily Album Ranking on June 25. This achievement follows the success of their first mini album, “Sparkling Blue,” which also reached the top of this chart just two weeks after its release, indicating TWS’s rapid growth in popularity.

The album is also performing well on global charts. As of 9 PM KST on the 25th, “SUMMER BEAT!” ranked in the top positions of the iTunes Top Albums chart in 13 countries/regions, including Denmark, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong, India, Taiwan (2nd place), the Netherlands (3rd place), Turkey (5th place), Canada (33rd place), and Germany (35th place).

The music video for the title track “If I’m S, Can You Be My N” is also gaining significant traction. Praised for its refreshing and bright aesthetic paired with TWS’s unique visual style, the video reached the top of YouTube’s “Most Viewed Videos in 24 Hours” on the 25th.

TWS’s dynamic performances have captivated global music fans. The key choreography, which portrays the attraction of opposites like the poles of a magnet with subtle hand movements, is particularly popular. The video of their performance on water has surpassed 2 million views on TikTok within three days, sparking a new challenge trend following their debut title track “plot twist.”
