Super Junior’s first baby is finally coming! On Instagram, THIS member announced that he will finally become a father.

After 10 years of marriage, Super Junior Sungmin & his wife Kim Sa Eun are finally pregnant!

On July 16, the male icon personally delivered this news on SNS through a lengthy letter, saying:

“Hello. This is Sungmin. 

I am writing this carefully to be the first to share the news with my fans. 

“My precious baby has finally arrived. After 10 years of marriage, I will become a father. 

As this is a baby that came with difficulty, I will raise it with love care, and a sense of responsibility. 

I’ve been wondering a lot about when and how to break this news to all of you. I’m nervous, but I would be grateful if you could watch over us with a warm heart.

In particular, Sungmin became the first member of Super Junior to get married and have a baby.

In 2014, he married musical actress Kim Sa Eun. Unfortunately, their relationship wasn’t as welcomed as expected, leading him to take an indefinite hiatus from the group.

Since then, Super Junior has continued without him, and amid group activities, he has become active as a soloist, music actor, and trot singer. Over the years, the married couple is said to have avoided having a baby immediately to appease fans’ sense of betrayal from Sungmin.

Contrary to him, Ryeowook, the second active member to get married among Super Junior instead, received positive feedback. Although people still criticize him due to his wife Ari’s rumored background, he fought for her and eventually gained the general public’s approval.
