SEVENTEEN's Movie Boycotted? Here's Why CARATs Are Protesting Against Film's Screenings

SEVENTEEN officially announced its highly anticipated movie “SEVENTEEN TOUR FOLLOW AGAIN TO CINEMAS,” causing a myriad of thrilled CARATs. However, this was followed by a subsequent boycott from the fandom due to one of its screening locations.

On July 23, SEVENTEEN released an official trailer for its upcoming film “FOLLOW AGAIN,” which is scheduled to premiere on August 21 for a limited time.

Fans were ecstatic as this was a chance to relive or experience the boy group’s unforgettable encore concert.

However, on social media platform X (Twitter), CARATs have noticed that the film has included a screening in Israel, prompting them to urge a mass boycott of the movie. Fans have raised awareness of the conflict between Israel and Palestine.

Furthermore, netizens have also suggested that HYBE cancel the film’s screening in Israel, while also trending the hashtag “#HYBEDivestFromZionism,” and calling out organizer Trafalgar Releasing with “#CANCELTRAFALGAR.”
