SEVENTEEN's 210-minute emotional fan meeting

SEVENTEEN and their fanbase, Carat, gathered at their “home.” The stage, designed as a three-story house set, was the venue for their reunion after 1 year and 4 months.

It was a magical space where everything fans dreamed of was present. From a rich setlist to relay games and unit reverses, the 210 minutes were filled with diverse and colorful activities.

SEVENTEEN held their 8th fan meeting, “SEVENTEEN in CARAT LAND,” on the 23rd and 24th at Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro-gu, Seoul.

Dispatch attended the second day’s performance, enjoying it alongside global Carats through online live streaming.

The fan meeting hub opened its doors. The first song was the title track “DREAM” from their first Japanese EP. Their harmonious performance intensified the excitement of the event.

The setlist included songs not typically performed at concerts. SEVENTEEN expressed their longing for fans with a passionate rendition of “Thinkin’ About You.” They also performed “Domino” while riding a moving vehicle.

It was a party of hits. They sang the title track of their 8th mini-album, “Ready to Love,” along with “Lucky,” “CALL CALL CALL!” and more.

Special stages were also presented. Jeonghan and Wonwoo performed the title track “Last Night” from their first unit single, dressed in blue outfits for a unified look.

The unit reverse added visual enjoyment. The hip-hop team, performance team, and vocal team swapped songs, performing “Spell,” “Cheers to Youth,” and “LALALI,” respectively.

Carats enthusiastically chanted the official fan meeting slogans. Led by DK, they clapped along and continuously cheered “Carat Land.”

SEVENTEEN’s Comedic Charm

Special segments exclusive to the fan meeting were also featured. SEVENTEEN participated in two segments that thrilled Carats worldwide.

Their comedic charm shone through in the “Zero Grudges” segment. Divided into older and younger teams, they anonymously expressed their honest feelings.

They oscillated between revelations and love confessions. Despite the pledge to never identify who said what, specific members were mentioned, causing laughter. The game, with altered voices, led to comedic moments.

Their close team dynamics were evident. Even while airing grievances, they shouted “I love you” to each other, expressing gratitude through playful gestures.

In the “SEVENTEEN GAME.ZIP” segment, they played relay games. Left-hand and right-hand teams competed in activities like three-legged basketball races, covering every corner of the stage.

The losing team faced penalties, dancing to “unsuitable” songs. Jeonghan and Mingyu were chosen two days in a row.

Seungkwan channeled RISE’s Shotaro, performing “Boom Boom Bass.” Dino did “Fast Forward,” DK performed “Guilty,” and Wonwoo danced to “Queencard.”

Special Performances for Carats

A highlight was “King of Instrumental Music.” This song, featured in SEVENTEEN’s content “GOING SEVENTEEN,” was a trot version of the title track from their 11th mini-album.

It was first unveiled at “SEVENTEEN in CARAT LAND,” following the single release and performance. Wearing glitter jackets, they performed a full-fledged trot song.

They created choreography specifically for the fan meeting, matching the lyrics with eye-catching movements. “We practiced the hardest for ‘Carat Land,'” Mingyu joked.

They fully immersed themselves in the “GOING SEVENTEEN” universe. Dino appeared as the representative of “Pichulin,” encouraging fans to join in during the dance break.

The event ended on an emotional note with “Shining Diamond,” a song that inspired the fan name Carat. The live performance brought tears to the audience.

SEVENTEEN’s Dream: Carat

The cameras captured the audience, showing fans holding slogan signs. Despite different languages, they shared the same wish.

They cheered for SEVENTEEN with unified voices, expressing sentiments like, “Meeting SEVENTEEN is the luck of my life,” “SVT, Carat Forever,” and “Thank you for being my youth.”

SEVENTEEN expressed their deep gratitude. The8 reflected, “It reminds me of our debut, and I feel emotional. We’ve grown so much, thanks to Carats.”

Woozi added, “I’m glad the ending song was ‘Shining Diamond.’ It makes this moment even more special. Please look forward to many more days with SEVENTEEN.”

Wonwoo expressed his gratitude, saying, “Thank you for making 13 immature boys special. Let’s live with passion. I love you.”

S.Coups, who completed the full performance after recovering from a knee injury, said, “Thank you for waiting for me. I hope you know that our love for fans is not taken lightly.”

Hoshi smiled and said, “I hope every day is filled with laughter. Thank you, I love you, and I appreciate you all.”
