Park Myung Soo shows off close friendship with BTS's Jin

Broadcast personality Park Myung Soo showcased his close friendship with BTS’s Jin.

On the KBS CoolFM show ‘Park Myung Soo’s Radio Show’ aired on the 25th, the ‘Mobile Quiz Show’ segment was featured.

After listening to BTS’s ‘Boy With Luv’, Park Myung Soo said, “Our Jin has been discharged from the military, and I sincerely congratulate him once again.”

Park Myung Soo added humorously, “I congratulated him over the phone, but he told me to hang up because he was busy.” He continued, “Since we’re close, Jin was like ‘Hyung, why are you calling while I’m working?’ to which I jokingly responded, ‘Oh, sorry’.”

Guest broadcaster Kim Tae-jin commented, “You always shrink in front of Jin,” to which Park Myung Soo replied, “When we meet, I always try to make a mark,” bringing laughter.

When Kim Tae-jin suggested, “It would be great if Jin appeared on the ‘Legendary Master’ segment,” Park Myung-soo responded, “Let’s look forward to it,” raising listeners’ expectations. Park Myung Soo jokingly said, “Once again, congratulations on your discharge. I plan to celebrate it for about three months.”

Jin completed his military service and was discharged on the 12th. He enlisted on December 13, 2022, becoming the first BTS member to start his military service.

Jin chose to meet with ARMYs for his first post-discharge activity, holding a hug event and fan meeting at the ‘2024 FESTA’ to celebrate the group’s debut anniversary.

To commemorate Jin’s discharge, all BTS members gathered for the first time in a while. Full group activities for BTS are expected to resume after June next year.
