Lee Ji Hoon's wife Ayane shares joyful anticipation ahead of childbirth

Actor Lee Ji Hoon’s wife Ayane has shared a relaxed update as she approaches childbirth.

On July 17 KST, Ayane posted a lengthy message saying, “I am going to give birth to Jelly(nickname)!”

Ayane wrote, “Actually, today, July 17(KST), I was supposed to be admitted for induction and went to sleep last night, but contractions started at 3 AM. Jelly, you have perfect timing.”

She continued, “But honestly, I still wonder if these are real contractions… It’s the first time I’ve experienced such regular pain in my stomach… So it must be real, right? Anyway, since the contractions are still 7-10 minutes apart, we’re heading to the hospital at the scheduled time.”

Ayane added, “I thought I’d be nervous when contractions started, but… why am I still so calm? It’s a ‘first childbirth’ that only happens once in a lifetime!!! I’ll go with a joyful heart,” expressing her excitement, “Jelly, we’ll finally meet soon…”

The photos Ayane shared show her cradling her baby bump with a happy smile on her face.

Netizens responded with comments such as,

“Have a safe delivery and take good care of yourself,”

“Wishing you a healthy childbirth,”

“You’re finally going to meet Jelly,”

“Hoping for good health for both Jelly and you,”

“Congratulations on the most beautiful experience.”

Meanwhile, Lee Ji Hoon and Ayane overcame a 14-year age difference and got married in 2021.

Lee Ji Hoon recently revealed on the Channel A program ‘Dad is a Flower Boy’ that they had undergone IVF treatment but lost their first baby at 8 weeks.

Ayane shared, “The baby’s nickname was ‘Labongi’. But the baby had cardiac arrest in the womb,” she said, expressing her sorrow. She continued, “I told my husband, ‘I’m okay, let’s try one more time.’ The result of the embryo transfer four months after the miscarriage is ‘Jelly.'”

Lee Ji Hoon expressed his gratitude to his wife, saying, “After the miscarriage, I experienced depression and emotional difficulties, but she endured it well.”
