KAVE to release first mini-album 'Flight of Ideas' tomorrow

The curiosity is all the way up for the unique band KAVE after revealing their mysterious concept photos.

Through their official social media channels, KAVE revealed their concept photo last July 21 for their upcoming first mini album ‘Flight of Ideas’ scheduled to be released on the 24th at 6 PM KST.

In the released concept photo, the KAVE members are under colorful lights, drawing attention. With a mysterious and psychedelic direction along with the individual photos of the KAVE members, a message expressing the personas within them was conveyed, amplifying curiosity about the new album.

KAVE mini album’s title track, “Legend”, is a hybrid rock song based on shuffle rhythm with added electronic sounds. The pre-released lead single “Venom” combines Latin rhythms and Afrobeat. “Hurricane” features metallic guitar riffs and symphonic sounds. “Dangerous” blends alternative rock, EDM, and deep house. “Avant” layers ethnic textures on Afro beat. “Crazy Crazy” is charming with its Latin mood and flute sounds. Lastly, “Die For U” adds R&B sensibilities to deep house. Each song presents a diverse and polished sound. That being said, KAVE will show their band’s maximalism with a variety of sophisticated sounds in their mini album.

KAVE is composed of Gaho (vocalist), Kekinu (guitarist), Hyun (pianist/keyboardist), Ownr (keyboardist/DJ). All the members are talented composers, lyricists, arrangers, and producers. As producers, they made use of their understanding of music and filled their first mini-album with colorful sounds and stories. If you look at their individual song credits, all members were assigned diverse roles, and by combining all their musical prowess, a rich mini album was completed.

Like the meaning of their team’s name, “KAVE: Kings Always have Veiled Egos”, any human has a different side or persona of them hidden within, and they plan to express that spirit of resisting that hidden persona through this album.
