K-netizens react to a label CEO allegedly assaulting an idol group for having a dirty dorm

A current idol group member reported to the police that they were assaulted by their agency representative, prompting an investigation. The Seoul Gangnam Police Station received a report at around 4:30 AM on June 11, stating, “The agency representative is assaulting the members,” and responded to the call.

The police went to the idol group’s dormitory and are investigating the agency representative on charges of assaulting the members with a blunt object approximately 90 cm long (35.4 inches).

It is reported that the agency representative assaulted the members, saying, “Why are you keeping the dormitory dirty?” Among the assaulted members, there was a minor. It is also reported that the representative was intoxicated at the time of the assault.

The police have booked the agency representative on charges of special assault and are investigating the detailed circumstances of the incident.
