In the video, Karina was shown picking up a new set of baseball throwing skills with the help of a baseball player named Junwoo. As expected of the charismatic leader, she was adept in the learning session and showcased how much she enjoyed learning the basics.

However, one instance in the video quickly gained attention from K-pop fans. At the 5:08 mark of the clip, Junwoo confessed that he’s a big fan of Karina.

While fans would expect Karina to be modest, their expectations were thrown under the bus, as Karina put the baseball player to test regarding aespa’s newest comeback!

The singer began asking Junwoo about the name of aespa’s new song, causing the baseball player to give “Supernova,” aespa’s pre-release, as his answer. But then again, Karina wasn’t satisfied and continued to ask about their title track “Armageddon,” which the baseball player failed to mention.

Junwoo: “I’m a big fan of you.”

Karina: “(Gasps) What’s our new song?”

Junwoo: “Supernova.”

Karina: “There’s another one.”

Junwoo: (silence)

Karina: “I’m going home.”

On social media platform X (Twitter), MYs couldn’t hold back their laughter due to Karina’s on-the-spot interview with the baseball player, and conveyed how much of a comedian she is!

In other news, Karina appeared as a special guest on Girl’s Day member and actress Hyeri’s talk show “Hyell’s Club,” where she revealed her thoughts about a career in acting. According to the video, Hyeri asked Karina if she considered trying acting.

“I don’t think I can do it, I don’t speak very well,” Karina replied. “My mouth doesn’t look good when I talk. When conversing like this, I don’t worry too much about it.”

Karina added, “But when filming things like VRs in concerts, I have many lines. My mouth doesn’t look nice when I worry about it.”
