BLACKPINK Jisoo Receives Gifts in the Most Disrespectful Manner + BLINKs Call Out Rude Fans

BLACKPINK Jisoo faced disrespectful fans at the airport, sparking concern for her well-being.

On the morning of June 27, Jisoo was spotted at Incheon Airport, Korea, returning from her schedule in Paris, France. The arrival of BLACKPINK’s eldest member quickly turned chaotic as a large crowd of fans gathered, eagerly waiting to greet her as soon as she appeared.

Amid the excitement, some overly enthusiastic fans began pushing forward and “shoving” gifts at Jisoo, which clearly overwhelmed her. In particular, some fans went as far as throwing items like packages of instant pho and Hello Kitty plush toys towards her.

Although Jisoo accepted the gifts, it was obvious that the crowd made Jisoo uncomfortable. She attempted to signal for fans to calm down. Even though she was wearing a mask, it was visible on Jisoo’s face that she was becoming overwhelmed and confused by the situation.

Once Jisoo was safely inside her vehicle, she held a live stream to connect with her fans despite the overwhelming situation she faced.

During the stream, she expressed her discomfort about the aggressive welcome and mentioned being hit by thrown gifts. She revealed her surprise that her altered flight details had been leaked, as she had switched airlines to avoid such situations.

Despite the hectic welcome, Jisoo made it a point to go live on Bubble to properly greet the fans who came to the airport and to reassure them of her safe return. She also shared that she planned to rest up before resuming her filming commitments.

This incident has sparked an immense debate in the BLINK community. Many slammed the rude fans for their behavior and requested that those who plan to see the members in the airport in the future give the idols their proper space.

Others praised Jisoo for her professional attitude, calling out those who made her uncomfortable while still sharing love with the fans who support her.

In other news, Jisoo is set to make her acting comeback with the drama “Influenza,” where she will star alongside Park Jeong Min.

She is also slated to make her big screen debut as Lee Ji Hye in the film adaption of the webtoon “Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint.”

Here, she will star alongside Lee Min Ho.
