Huang Zitao Calls Out Fans Criticizing Him For Not Admitting Dating Rumor With Xu Yiyang

In a recent live broadcast, Huang Zitao called out fans who are prying too much with his personal life, especially his real status with Xu Yiyang.

Earlier on June 27, former EXO and Chinese idol Huang Zitao, also known as Tao turned on a Weibo live broadcast to update fans about his recent status.

Here, he talked about his recent variety show appearances, his concert, and more, but what caught the attention of viewers the most was when Tao addressed the issue regarding fans who are meddling with his dating life exorbitantly.

In the live, Tao showed his irritation about inquiries about his personal matter and refused to acknowledge any of his dating rumors.

He sternly said:

“Is it wrong? Should celebrities reveal everything? Each  person has their own way of life and no one can define another person.”

Tao continued to speak about his views on public relationships, saying:

“About dating, I think it is a private matter and if someone admits to being in a relationship, you should bless them. However, it is not wrong if they don’t admit it. Do you get it?”

In addition to this, Tao addressed the abuse and all kinds of hateful comments he’s getting once he returned to China, saying:

“If I listen to and see the kind of torture and abuse that others are treating me every day, then I will suffer. Why should I care about them? I am now 31 years old, and I will never do it again… being influenced by the outside world.”

Meanwhile, the reason Tao is earning ridiculous attention about his dating life is due to his relationship speculations with his own label’s artist and C-pop idol, Xu Yiyang.

The rumors involving them have been going on for about for years, however, Tao is refusing to make any official statement about it despite being photographed meeting each other outside work and making intimate interactions like holding hands, hugging each other, etc.

Many people respected Tao’s thoughts, but some showed absurd reactions, such as:

• “It’s funny that they don’t admit it when they take pictures of each other every time they go on a date.”
• “Then don’t be a celebrity.”
• “You cover your eyes and say nothing.”
• “What else? You can fall in love and get single bonuses at the same time.”
•  “It sounds like the money you earn is donated for free.”
• “Is it because you are afraid that you will lose fans and followers, then you won’t be able to make money that you are so scared to make it public?”

In April, there were even rumors that Tao and Yiyang were about to get married, but it remained a rumor without an official position from the alleged couple as well.
