BLACKPINK Lisa Draws Mixed Reactions For Thanking Solo Stans Instead Of BLINKs: 'Did You Forget?'

Earlier on June 28, BLACKPINK’s youngest member Lisa released her newest digital single “ROCKSTAR,” which marks her first comeback as a soloist and her first release under her founded label LLOUD Co.

Immediately upon its release, the music video for “ROCKSTAR” went viral across social media and online communities due to its music, visuals, Lisa’s hard-hitting charisma, and the filming location since it was shot in Lisa’s home country, Thailand.

On June 30, Lisa uploaded a post on her official Instagram account to express her gratitude. According to the post, Lisa first conveyed enthusiasm regarding her comeback and shared that she enjoyed making the preparations for the release.

The BLACKPINK member then thanked the RCA Records and We Are Loud team for making the comeback possible. This was followed by the singer’s gratefulness to her fans, whom she referred to as “Lilies.”

Lisa also concluded her statement hoping that fans will enjoy the “ROCKSTAR” era and that more content will be released.

“Thank you @rcarecords and @wearelloud team for making this happen. Thank you, Lilies for your love and support. It has been three years since my last song, so I hope you guys enjoy ‘ROCKSTAR’ era as much as I do.”

In the post’s comments section, fans responded with fervor and returned the love with their warm remarks.

Meanwhile, the post still disappointed some fans since Lisa only alluded to her solo fandom name “Lilies” instead of BLACKPINK’s official BLINKs. Others mentioned that it would’ve been more appropriate to include BLINKs in her message.
