BTS Jin Crowned #1 'Singing God' Representing K-Pop + Junsu, EXO Baekhyun, More Enter Top 19

In a survey among over 10,000 Japanese, BTS Jin was chosen as the No. 1 “Singing God” who represents K-pop.

On June 24, Japanese media Danmee released the results of their survey under the theme, “Who is the 30-year-old singing god who represents K-pop”, which depicts idols with beautiful voice that goes beyond singing skills.

The survey was conducted from June 14 to 21 participated by 10,073 Japanese netizens.

In this poll, 19 K-pop idols who are in their 30s and are highly praised for their singing skills were nominated, and upon the closing of the survey, BTS Jin dominated.

He gained 3,884 votes (38.56%) and topped the rankings, beating his senior idols including JYJ members.

Recently, Jin completed his military service for 1 year and 6 months and was discharged as a sergeant from the Army on June 12.

In the comment section, fans explained why they voted for him, saying:

“Jin’s gentle singing voice touches the heart! He’s truly a singing god!”

“When I first heard BTS’s’Crystal Snow,’ JIN’s voice was in a class of its own. It sounded like an angel was singing.”

Following him, Junsu followed in second place with 28.89% and those who voted for him also left heart-warming reasons such as:

“I’ll cry if I hear him live! I’ll get goosebumps. I want to hear every song in Junsu’s voice! The gentle warmth, the strength of his feelings, his heavenly voice, his majesty beyond words. Every song is unique, he’s a man born to sing! He must be an angel who brings happiness with his voice.”

Following Jin and Junsu, Jaejoong who earned 24.23% of the votes ranked third place and the top 5 was completed by Super Junior Yesung (2.38%) and TVXQ Changmin (2.29%).
