NewJeans' 'Supernatural Pop Up' in Shibuya draws a long line of fans outside the store

NewJeans’ ‘Supernatural Pop-Up’ shop at ‘LINE FRIENDS SQUARE SHIBUYA’ has quickly transformed into the latest hot spot, drawing a long line of crowds and fans eagerly waiting to enter the store to get their hands on the special NewJeans merch.

This event, a creative collaboration between IPX and renowned Japanese artists Murakami Takashi and Hiroshi Fujiwara, coincided with the release of NewJeans’ latest album, turning the pop-up into a pivotal part of their promotion.

The exclusive merchandise, including plush keyrings and phone grips featuring Murakami’s drawings of NewJeans members, was a significant draw. The fashion items emblazoned with Fujiwara’s unique typeface—spanning t-shirts to baseball caps—pulled in a crowd.

A new video has gone viral online, capturing the long line of fans eagerly waiting to enter the store. The footage reveals the queue stretching for several blocks near the shop.

“It’s so hard to get merch in Korea and Japan.”

“Wow… that is so impressive.”

“NewJeans is so awesome.”

“This is so crazy.”

“It’s more impressive how these Japanese fans keep such good order even if the line is this long.”

“The line is so long. It’s going to take forever to enter the shop.”

“I want their merch too.”

“They even leave openings at crossings so they don’t get into the way of other people.”

“I would want to get the merch too.”
