Kim Jaejoong to debut self-produced idol group this year

Celebrating his 20th anniversary in the music industry, Kim Jaejoong has expressed his confidence in the upcoming debut of an idol group he has personally produced. During an interview on the 25th in Mapo-gu, Seoul, Kim Jaejoong, who recently released his fourth full-length album ‘FLOWER GARDEN,’ shared his excitement about this new venture.

Having established his own company, Kim Jaejoong is now nurturing young idols as a senior artist. He mentioned, “You will be able to meet them this year. It won’t be long before we announce whether it’s a boy group or a girl group.”

Reflecting on his extensive experience as an idol, Kim Jaejoong emphasized his commitment to mentoring the next generation of artists. He said, “I don’t want to just pass my dreams onto the kids and step back. I want to do everything I can physically manage. My primary goal is to create better environments and situations for them, helping them achieve their dreams.”

Kim Jaejoong also spoke about the values he instills in his trainees. “I believe it’s essential for them to understand how a stage is created. Starting with this knowledge makes a significant difference. Some might see it as pressuring artists with numbers, but I wanted to convey the dedication that goes into a show. As a manager now, I know the structure and can prevent wasteful spending, ensuring resources are used effectively.”

Kim Jaejoong’s new album ‘FLOWER GARDEN’ is available on various online music platforms, encapsulating his journey and love for his fans in 14 tracks.
