HyunA and Yong Jun-hyung's October wedding rumors under verification

Will a new idol couple be born? Rumors of a wedding between publicly dating HyunA and Yong Jun-hyung have surfaced.

On the 8th, YTN exclusively reported that HyunA and Yong Jun-hyung will hold a wedding ceremony on October 11 in Seoul. In response, a representative from Yong Jun-hyung’s agency cautiously stated to DongA.com that they are currently verifying the facts.

HyunA and Yong Jun-hyung publicly announced their relationship in January by posting a photo of them holding hands on their respective social media accounts. At the time, Yong Jun-hyung shared his thoughts through a fan communication community, saying,

“We are doing well while receiving positive energy from each other, so please watch over us warmly.”

HyunA, who left P Nation and joined At Area last year, released her new mini-album ‘Attitude’ in May of this year. At Area also includes artists such as Dawn, Gemini, Mirani, and Blase.

Yong Jun-hyung debuted as a member of the group Beast in 2009 and, except for Jang Hyun-seung, re-debuted with the remaining members as the five-member group Highlight in 2017.

However, in 2019, he left the group after being implicated in the illegal pornography distribution chat room scandal involving Jung Joon Young, Seungri, and Choi Jong-hoon.

Yong Jun-hyung initially denied participating in the problematic chat room but later admitted to having received and engaged in inappropriate conversations about illegal videos in a one-on-one chat with Jung Joon Young.

Following the controversy, Yong Jun-hyung enlisted for mandatory military service.

In June 2020, he underwent knee surgery and was transferred to supplementary service, then discharged in February the following year. He is currently active as a solo artist.
