Hyeri to star in new mystery thriller drama 'Friendly Competition'
Hyeri is set to star in the upcoming mystery thriller drama ‘Friendly Competition’.
Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, ‘Friendly Competition’ is a high-teen mystery thriller that delves into the precarious relationships among teenage girls in a ruthless survival competition. It portrays the story unfolding at Chaehwa High School, where the top 1% of South Korea’s students gather.
In the drama, Hyeri will play the unique role of Yoo Jae I, a standout at the high school. She’s a genius student who ranks in the top 0.1%, and though she’s gifted with natural beauty, a high IQ, and a privileged background, she’s a truly manipulative character who feels she’s superior to others. She’ll show a special interest in transfer student Woo Soo Ki, unfolding a relationship between friendship and obsession.
