Earlier on July 23, Dispatch alleged that Min Hee Jin had consulted a shaman. Sources also stated that the ADOR CEO had requested the expansion of her scope for Source Music trainees, who eventually became the members of NewJeans.

It was also alleged that Bang Si Hyuk and Source Music CEO So Sung Jin approved the request. Furthermore, Dispatch claimed that Min Hee Jin was once included in the branding management for Source Music’s “N-team” project.

However, the outlet disclosed that Min Hee Jin had allegedly delayed N team’s debut to introduce NewJeans.

In response, the reports were firmly denied by Min Hee Jin. The ADOR CEO claimed that the information was misleading and that legal action would be taken. Min Hee Jin then stressed that these accusations stemmed from illegally obtained messages in her personal KakaoTalk.

This was followed by Min Hee Jin’s lawsuit against five HYBE executives, which were Park Ji Won (CEO), Lee Kyung Joon (Chief Financial Officer), Lim Soo Hyun (Audit Committee Chairman), Park Tae Hee (Chief Communication Officer), and Jung Jin Soo (Chief Legal Officer).
