DIGNITY makes official debut with Y2K new jack swing track 'Cool Down'

New idol group DIGNITY has officially debuted, capturing the excitement of Y2K.

On the 24th at noon, DIGNITY (members Luo, Minseok, Luke, On, and Hyeongjin) released their first mini-album ‘Digmotion’ across various online music platforms.

‘Digmotion’ marks the beginning of a new chapter for DIGNITY. The album pays homage to the 1990s hip-hop legend Deux, presenting a 5th generation NEW K-POP sound that honors their legacy.

The title track ‘Cool Down’ reinterprets the popular New Jack Swing of the Y2K era for today’s generation. The song conveys the sweetness and excitement of falling in love, using the refreshing sounds characteristic of the 1990s. This love song by DIGNITY is expected to resonate with listeners of all ages.

The album includes a total of five tracks, showcasing DIGNITY’s diverse appeal. These tracks are: the refreshing ‘Boyfriend,’ the indie band-styled ‘It’s Like Walking on Clouds,’ the intense hip-hop sound of ‘Stick Together,’ and a remix version of their pre-debut single ‘RAMBO (Remix).’

During their pre-debut activities, DIGNITY appeared as Team 1 o’clock on JTBC’s idol survival program ‘Peak Time,’ demonstrating their solid skills and teamwork. The group is set to bring their energetic and uplifting summer vibes to the forefront, garnering attention for their official start. DIGNITY plans to continue their activities with ‘Cool Down’ and aim to make an impact on the global stage.

DIGNITY released their debut album ‘Digmotion’ at noon on the 24th, alongside a media showcase where they performed ‘Cool Down’ for the first time. To celebrate the release of their debut album, they are also collaborating with the renowned self-photo brand Photosignature for various promotions, including photo frames, allowing fans to experience DIGNITY’s charm in multiple ways.
