aespa’s pre-release title track “Supernova” from their first full-length album has secured the number one position on major domestic music sites Melon and Genie for the week of July 8-14, according to charts released on July 15. This achievement extends the record for the longest-running number one song released this year, hinting at continued popularity into the latter half of the year.
Additionally, aespa has achieved their 10th Spotify milestone with “Supernova” surpassing 100 million streams. The song also dominated the Circle Chart in June, claiming three monthly titles: Global K-pop Chart, Digital Chart, and Streaming Chart, demonstrating their sustained strong response.
With their album ‘Armageddon’ achieving unprecedented success, aespa released their Japanese debut single ‘Hot Mess’ on July 3. They are currently on their arena tour ‘2024 aespa LIVE TOUR – SYNK: PARALLEL LINE – in JAPAN,’ with stops in Fukuoka, Nagoya, and Saitama, showcasing their dynamic presence.
