"A style icon and trendsetter," BLACKPINK's Rosé confirmed as the new Global Ambassador for PUMA

BLACKPINK’s Rosé has joined forces with the German sportswear giant “Puma” as its new Global Brand Ambassador.

Through its website and social networks, “Puma” officially welcomed Rosé to the family with the following message:

“Rosé has established herself as a dominant and inspiring force in the K-pop world, as well as a style icon and trendsetter in her own right. Through the partnership, Rosé will bring her vision, voice, and unique insights to brand’s global campaigns and storytelling. The Korean-New Zealand K-pop superstar’s ambassador role will be dedicated to amplifying PUMA’s catalog of iconic silhouettes and supporting the ‘Rewrite the Classics’ program, which celebrates PUMA’s most timeless franchises, bringing them into a new generation.”

This new collaboration has caused a frenzy on the internet with many people wanting to see what new products and campaigns are coming, all while the BLACKPINK member dominated the trends on “X”, formerly known as Twitter. Among the main comments provided by netizens are the following:

  • They said that she was the first one they had picked in 10 years.
  • If Rose is the ambassador, she can bring the brand to the #1 spot so I wonder if she’ll do it for Puma too? YSL’s clothing, YSL eyewear, YSL beauty, Tiffany & Co., Rimowa bag, Rimowa suitcase, Rimowa accessory, Sulhwasoo and now Puma. She’s #1 worldwide in terms of solo sales. I wonder.
  • Saint Laurent (fashion), Tiffany & Co. (accessory), Rimowa (travel), Sulhwasoo (makeup), Puma (sports) except for home appliances, doesn’t she have it all? Freaking cool!
  • Saint Laurent, Sulhwasoo, Tiffany, Rimowa and Puma… freaking amazing.
  • Puma suddenly got a f*cking buff. They didn’t get even that much of a buff when Kendall Jenner wore it.
