AliExpress 2024 Weverse Con Festival (hereafter Weverse Con), hosted by HYBE, concluded on a grand note amassing nearly 22,000 on-site attendees and 18,000 online viewers over two dynamic days on June 15 and 16.

The number of performing artists increased from 20 last year to 24 this year, broadening the diversity of the lineup to include not only K-pop but also globally recognized J-pop, indie musicians and a virtual artist group.

The outdoor Discovery Park venue featured an all-live band stage, delighting fans with fresh arrangements of their favorite songs in an open-air setting. The stage featured performances by BOYNEXTDOOR, &TEAM, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, LEE SUNG KYOUNG, 10CM, XIA, CHUU, JUST B, Billlie, ENHYPEN, imase, SEO EUNKWANG & LIM HYUNSIK, and KIM JAE JOONG for two days.

In addition to the line up, the festival boasted a series of special tribute performances dedicated to J.Y. PARK, a legendary Korean artist celebrating his 30th anniversary. Bang Si-Hyuk, Chairman of HYBE and PARK’s longtime “music companion,” made a special appearance, accompanying PARK on guitar and piano for a rendition of his hit songs.

In total, approximately 7 million users accessed the Weverse app throughout the two-day event, representing 70% of the app’s general monthly active users (MAU) over that brief period.

Since the initial festival announcement, over 1.53 million global posts about Weverse Con have been generated on X (formerly Twitter).
