On June 25, Korean news outlet Osen released an exclusive report stating that iconic second-gen group 2NE1 will reportedly hold a meeting with YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun Suk.

According to sources, all four members CL, Minzy, Park Bom, and Sandara Park have confirmed their plans to meet with the executive producer soon. The report also stated that CL’s previous meeting with Yang Hyun Suk was also held during the group’s 15th anniversary.

The meeting initially sparked rumors of an imminent reunion between 2NE1 members, and as the details for the quartet’s meeting with the founder were disclosed, the expectations and hype towards a potential comeback have been raised drastically.

2NE1 and YG Entertainment’s reunion also laid a special meaning to fans, as the former became one of the most legendary K-pop acts.

Despite their unfortunate disbandment in November 2016, the members have demonstrated their bond with each other by staying intact. To this day, Blackjacks and other K-pop enthusiasts are still longing for the group’s much-awaited return to the music scene.
