K-netizens react to EXO Suho's apology to fans regarding the EXO-CBX controversy

EXO’s Suho recently spoke out about the dispute between SM Entertainment and EXO-CBX (Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin).

Recently, Suho conducted a concluding interview for the MBN weekend drama ‘Missing Crown Prince’ at SM Entertainment’s headquarters in Seongdong-gu, Seoul.

On this day, Suho expressed his feelings about the conflict between the CBX members and SM Entertainment coming to light, saying, “The rest of the (EXO) members and I first learned about the situation through the news articles, as there was a press conference that day. We were quite shocked.”

He continued, “I actually learned about the situation through the media. I was shocked and very upset. Above all, I was worried about the fans. Last year, our fans went through a similar situation. I remember how heartbroken and upset they were. With this happening again, I am also feeling uneasy, and I can tell that the fans are not feeling good about it. I want to take this opportunity to apologize to the fans for such an incident happening.”

Suho continued to reassure fans that EXO is continuing to prepare for their winter album and ensured they would be releasing it. Korean netizens expressed sympathy, appreciating Suho’s concerns and dedication as the leader of EXO.

Korean netizens commented:

“The leader is suffering so much.”

“Why is he apologizing? He doesn’t need to apologize.”

“Suho didn’t do anything wrong.”

“EXO’s leader position is an extreme job.”

“I support Suho.”

“I feel bad for Suho.”

“So this shows CBX didn’t even tell the members and they just did what they wanted. They keep saying they are doing this for fans but it’s really not.”

“Suho is always the one suffering. He’s not even the oldest member. I thought he would be the eldest because he was the leader but Xiumin is the eldest.”

“This is too much.”

“Wow, CBX didn’t even tell the members about this.”

“How can they do this to the members…”

“They should’ve at least told the members.”
