Cignature shines in first week of comeback with 'Sweetie but Saltie' EP

The group Cignature successfully completed their first week of comeback activities.

Cignature released their fifth EP ‘Sweetie but Saltie’ on the 10th and performed their comeback stages on various music shows including SBS M’s ‘The Show’, MBC M’s ‘Show! Champion’, Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’, KBS2’s ‘Music Bank’, MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core’, and SBS’s ‘Inkigayo’.

‘Sweetie but Saltie’ is an album that tells sweet and salty love stories through Cignature’s bright and vibrant musical style. The title track ‘Poongdung’ is a summer song that expresses a commitment to dive into love, highlighting Cignature’s honest and lively ‘sweet and salty’ charm and refreshing energy.

In all the music broadcasts, they radiated an upgraded freshness with the performance of their title track ‘Poongdung’.

The swimming performance, where they appear to dive into the water, along with the members’ charming gestures and juicy expressions, blew away the midsummer heat. Cignature’s bright visuals and youthful, lovely styling perfectly matched the seasonal vibe, solidifying their image as ‘rising summer queens’.

Additionally, on ‘The Show’ and ‘Show! Champion’, they showcased a different, kitschy charm with the performance of the track ‘I Like I Like’. The narration about falling in love with friends and the signature fingertip-tapping choreography maximized Cignature’s unique lovely chemistry.

Along with their performances, Cignature is engaging with global fans by simultaneously running dance challenges for ‘Poongdung’ and ‘I Like I Like’. Member Belle (real name Jin Hyunju) also joined the challenge, demonstrating warm friendship and support.

Cignature’s global presence is also evident as they were featured on the cover of Spotify’s ‘New Music K-Pop’ playlist, and the music video for ‘Poongdung’, filmed in Lisbon, Portugal, surpassed 10 million views on YouTube.
