BLACKPINK's JENNIE is the First K-Pop Female Soloist to reach 2 Billion Streams on Spotify without a solo album

BLACKPINK’s Jennie has once again proven to be one of the biggest artists in South Korea after her most recent achievement on Spotify, one of the largest music platforms in the world.

In particular, Jennie received multiple accolades after surpassing 2 Billion streams on Spotify across all of her credits, becoming the First Female K-Pop Soloist to achieve this feat without releasing a solo album.

Thanks to the aforementioned milestone, Jennie has joined her friend Lisa and IU as the only Female Soloists in South Korean history to have surpassed 2 Billion streams on Spotify across all credits for their respective songs.

On the other hand, Jennie has also made history by surpassing 900 million streams on Spotify so far in 2024. This has made her the First and Only Female K-pop Soloist to achieve this amount of streams in a calendar year, in addition to being the most streamed K-pop Female Soloist on the platform so far this year.

Congratulations to BLACKPINK’s Jennie!
